Juncus ensifolius, commonly known as the ‘Wire Rush’, is a distinctive aquatic plant prized for its unique, sword-like leaves that radiate upward from the base, resembling a cluster of green wires. This perennial is often found in wetlands, along stream banks, and in garden water features. Its upright growth habit and striking form add an architectural element to aquatic landscapes. In summer, small, inconspicuous flowers add a subtle charm, though the plant is primarily grown for its foliage.
