Built for life in the treetops, the Green Iguana is more agile than it first appears. It moves with surprising speed, using strong claws for climbing and a powerful tail to whip away predators. Its color can vary from bright green to brown or gray, helping it disappear into the forest. As it feeds on plants, it spreads seeds across the rainforest, helping new plants take root and keeping the ecosystem alive and growing.
