Crocus ‘Romance’ is a captivating variety, renowned for its soft, buttery yellow blooms that bring a gentle warmth to late winter and early spring gardens. These delicate flowers, often kissed by dew or frost, emerge as uplifting spots of color amidst the often-gray palette of the season. The flower’s cup-shaped petals close at night or during cloudy weather and then open wide to the morning sun, revealing bright orange stigmas. Paired with slender, green, and silver-striped foliage, ‘Romance’ is the embodiment of springtime’s tender beginning.
